Coronavirus (COVID-19) 3 Month Mortgage Payment Deferral Support - Update 31st March 2021

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Payment Deferral Guidance that was put in place to help support mortgage customers who were in financial difficulty due to the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) ended on 31st March 2021. This means that you are no longer able to apply for a payment deferral under these guidelines.

For those customers currently coming to the end of their payment deferral, we will be writing to you outlining the options available to you, depending on the number of months that have been deferred.

If your ability to repay your mortgage is still being affected by the pandemic, then we may be able to offer you a more tailored support. This could include;
(a)    A partial payment based upon what you can afford to pay for a short period of time.
(b)    A temporary change in repayment method for a short period.
(c)    A temporary further payment deferral.
(d)    Extend the length of the mortgage term.

If you apply for any of these options, you will need to supply us with the following information to help us understand your circumstances. We will need:
(a)    A fully completed statement of personal details (Click here)
(b)    3 months bank statements for ALL bank accounts held.
(c)    A letter/email explaining your circumstances.

If you require this support, then please contact one of our dedicated staff on 01792 739110 who will talk you through the options available.
